Check that the permit pathway still matches the programme
A WAP depends on current project information. Changes to dates, staging, access or methodology may also require the supporting documents to be reviewed or amended.
- Compare the proposed work dates with the current CAR and TMP information.
- Identify late scope changes before the field team relies on an outdated set.
02
Documents needed for a WAP support check
Send the CAR reference if known, the approved or draft TMP, the work dates, methodology and any RCA notes. Include the access arrangements and the version intended for site.
- State what has changed since the original submission.
- Keep permit, plan and drawing filenames or revision details visible.
03
Settle amendments before mobilisation
A document review can show whether the WAP information is complete, which amendments are needed and what the applicant must still confirm with the relevant authority.
- Forward authority correspondence with the current documents.
- Do not assume that a changed programme is covered by an earlier work window.
