Change the drawing without creating a document conflict
A TMD revision should reflect the current work area, tapers, access, closures and temporary routes while remaining consistent with the TMP text and staging notes.
- Check that notes, symbols and work limits describe the same arrangement.
- Update affected pedestrian, cyclist, side-road and property-access information.
02
Drawing files and mark-ups to provide
Send the existing TMD, current TMP, clear site mark-ups and the requested changes. Include the reviewer comment or site reason behind the revision where available.
- Identify the base plan or aerial information that is no longer current.
- Show each changed stage separately if one diagram cannot represent the sequence clearly.
03
Issue the update with traceable revision notes
The scope check can confirm whether the work is a drawing-only update or also requires TMP text, CAR or WAP information to change.
- State the revision purpose and intended use of the updated drawing.
- Confirm which version should replace the set currently held by the site team.
